Finn Owsley

Co-President & Chief Investment Officer of QI

Finn is a senior from Seattle, Washington, studying Economics and Applied Math. Originating from the QI division of Algory, he has worked on alpha generation projects including sentiment analysis and pairs trading models. In his free time, he enjoys bouldering with the Emory Climbing Team, reading books, playing board games, and doing creative writing.

Jeremy Pennington

Co-President

Jeremy is a sophomore from Westport, Connecticut majoring in Finance and Human Health, and lived in Beijing, China for 5 years. He joined Algory Capital in Spring 2022, and is currently the co-president. He is pursing a career in investment banking and worked at a search fund this past summer. Some activities he's involved in at Emory include RISE, AIG, and Club Tennis.

Jessica Koyner

Chief Operating Officer & Chief of Professional Development

Jessica is a sophomore at Emory studying Economics and International Studies. She is the current Chief Operating Officer for Algory Capital and she also runs the Professional Development Division. Jessica loves learning about global trade and finance and will be interning for PwC this summer in the Deals Transformation Department. She is also a part of the Model United Nations team and the University Senate. In her spare time, she loves walking around the area and petting people’s dogs! 

Jessie Lu

Chief Marketing Officer

Jessie is a sophomore from Long Island, NY. She oversees the Marketing Division and is double majoring in Business and Human Health. She joined Algory Capital in the fall of 2022. Jessie and her team manage Algory Capital's public presence and promote events on Algory's social media pages. She has worked as a social media coordinator for an experiential marketing company and continues to leverage her skillsets at Algory. In her free time, Jessie enjoys dancing and watching Netflix.

Yicheng (Peter) Wang

Chief Investment Officer of Fundamental Investments

Yicheng is a junior majoring in economics & mathematics joint major, and finance. He is currently the Chief Investment Officer of the Fundamental Investments division. Prior to this role, he was the CIO of the Quantitative Investment division. He will be joining J.P.Morgan’s structured products group as a summer analyst for 2024 summer. In his spare time, he enjoys lifting, being an amateur whiskey connoisseur, and going on late night drives (when he is not drinking that night)
